The rapid growth of the Malaysian economy had resulted in many companies seeking to automate their manufacturing processes or upgrading their machinery to keep abreast with technology advancement. Oftentimes this involved high capital expenditure as most vendors recommended complete system overhaul as a solution. Most were able to offer either software or hardware solutions but very seldom both. As a result a lot of companies shelved the idea of system automation just because of the cost factor.
